Are Majesty palm trees/plants poisonous to cats?

I recently bought a Ravenea Majesty palm tree/ plant and I learned they were poisonous when ingested; my cats always eat my plants! Are these plants poisonous to them? If so, how do I keep them away from it? Thanks so much for answering!
