Liberals: What should we have done?

After those two planes hit the world trade centers and killed thousands of innocent American people. What should we have done when the plane hit the pentagon? What should we have done after a plane was meant to hit the White House and didn't because some brave people on a plane took a stand? Should we say sorry for going into a country and killing a murderous dictator? Should we have asked the terrorists to stop being so mean? What should we have done?
