Can someone please tell me if Rosie Perez is Dead or not?

I was decided to look at a video of Atmosphere (an underground rapper who is amazing look him up trust me ) I'd heard of from a friend I'd made while traveling on the bus to home for Thankgiving. And of course there was a channel add for Rhyme Sayers< the people who posted the vi> and I clicked on it add of course it lead me to the channel which had a video of the group Atmosphere had just joined called felt: I watched it and at the end of the video it showed their up coming album and said it was a tribute to Rosie Perez. So please someone tell me what thats all about.
