Does this guy like me? please answer.?

ok, i was walking home with my friend because my mom said i could go to her hous instead of going to my hous out in the country. me and my bestfriend and her BF were walking. i was infront a little bit. i saw this guy i knew from grade 5 (im in grade 7 ) and i called his name, he said hi and i said come walk with us. and my Best friedns Bf said, yea! Now Kayla has someone to hold hands with too! and he was like oh, and then i forget who said it, but either my BFF or her BF said, you should hold hands, and the guy was like ok, and took my hand. we walked hand in hand until he had to leave to go down his street. and we were talking andf laughin. then he lieft then my BFF's Bf left. ive been thinking abut him all day. does he like me? like we walked hand in hand the whole way. i asked if this was wierd, cuz this is kinda weird for me, and he was like no. then we started to talk some more. but anyways, does he like me? he is in the same grade as me.should i ask him out or wait ?
