Do men really marry their mothers ?

I was adopted so I really dont know, never knew my mother or father, but my close friend has a fiance who looks EXACTLY like the picture he has of his mother on top of the fireplace, its almost creepy, when I say she looks exactly like her, I mean it, its uncanny. He seems to not notice but everyone Ive talked to kind of makes fun of it now, as in "hes marrying his mom". I never brought it up though since that wouldn't be nice, but yeah like I said, dead on his mother.
