What was the political motive behind ‘Inglorious Basterds’-how was this movie allowed to be released?

If your trying to portray the Jews as evil in Inglorious s who cares its a movie by Tarantino its just supposed to be bloody and Nazi are the only group of people that he can scalp and get away with it. Also 6 million Jews were executed (they were not combatants) which you cant compare to any other genocides outside of Africa now and China in the 1930s. The Nazis were the evilest things on recently on the planet so committing war crimes in a fake movie is ok. I mean I'm not Jewish but that religion historically is always being beaten up so cut them some slack. Also not all movies are to prove a point. Your like my old English teacher always trying to find some metaphor or something where there isn't one.
