Some calculators can take an angle input in degrees- minutes-seconds (DMS); if yours cannot, we use the fact that there are 60 minutes in a degree, and 60 seconds in a minute (which makes 3600 seconds in a degree). You'll enter sin(53 + 18/60 + 28/3600) to account for the fractional parts of the minutes and seconds. Once you get that answer, take the reciprocal to find the cosecant of the angle.
