Sri Lankan guy - American girl need advice?

I am dating this guy from Sri Lanka. He has been in the US for 6 years with a good job. We met and have benn dating for a month. Though I feel as if there is so much cultural difference between us and I would like to understand. What should I know in dating a forgien guy? What should I knwo about the Sri Lankan dating customs? What should I be aware of? This is my first exprince in dating soemone who is outside my race/religion/citizenship/etc.
