Is it worth buying the Wii at this stage in time?

i'm looking to purchase a bday present for my sister, a PS3/360 wont suit her since I ume she'll want to be flailing her arms around. but with the advent of Playstation move/Natal is it worth buying it since theres bound to be new consoles out come christmas. Thanks
