Is it funny or sad how many people reject the scientific evidence behind global warming?

I live in the South, and down here, it's frighteningly reminiscent of the Creationism movement which sparked the Skopes Monkey Trial. I'm waiting for the CO2 trial. The morons down here actually put an ad in the paper stating CO2 is good for the environment.
